KENNETH R. GOFF

Project Manager

Ken is a performance-driven Project Manager with over 30 years of comprehensive experience leading and managing design and construction activities for complex, capital projects in health care, government and education markets.

 

His focus of experience has been in a management role, leading the planning, programming, design and project management team responsibilities for new capital projects (ground-up) and expansion/ renovation projects nationwide. He cultivates strong client relationship management skills and has a proven track record managing and balancing multiple interests, building consensus among a wide range of stakeholders, translating requests into operationally effective solutions and resolving conflicts. Ken is very knowledgeable on current trends in healthcare facility design and development and its impact on users and operational efficiencies.

ARCHITECTURAL

Healthcare Realty Projects, Memphis, Tennessee Metro Area; Southaven, Mississippi – Directed design and construction of capital facilities projects for comprehensive medical office building program including physician office buildings, outpatient treatment centers, surgery centers and labs for multiple Baptist Memorial Healthcare campus operations.

 

Methodist Breast Diagnostic, Memphis, Tennessee – Project Manager for a 14,000 sq ft breast diagnostic center to be located in a comprehensive cancer center facility in Midtown Memphis.

 

Magnolia Hospital, Corinth, Mississippi – 141,000 sq ft additions/renovations involving phased construction.

 

Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center, Wyoming, Minnesota – Awarding-winning new 155,000 sq ft facility completely integrated with clinic and hospital services intermeshed in one building.

 

Parris Island Dental Clinic, Parris Island, South Carolina – 13,000 sq ft addition and 24,000 sq ft renovations to the 63-chair facility includes oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, prosthetics, oral diagnosis and restorative dentistry.

 

Baptist Memorial Hospital Plaza East Professional Office Building (930 Madison Building), Memphis, Tennessee – Over 213,000 sq ft, eight-story facility providing “high technology” professional services with mixed-use tenant space, including a banking facility and food court.

Battalion Headquarters, US Corps of Engineers – Huntsville District, Huntsville, Alabama

Developed the design guide which included the definitive drawings, providing facility design guidance for use by contract A/E’s and the field operating agencies of the Corps. Computer related module drawings for Battalion Headquarters and classroom buildings; company administrative and supply facilities, including arms vault; and supplement for service schools.

 

Design Guide for Physical Fitness Centers (Standardized)

The research and preparation of the new design guide including definitive drawings for buildings ranging from 14,000 sf to 62,000 sf. Original guide and current revisions are now published – OCE DG 1110-3-128. Final Design Guide includes complete definitive drawings of 4 standard size physical fitness centers. Guide provides programming and planning guidance.

KIT OF PARTS DEVELOPMENT & UTILIZATION

United States Postal Service, Kit of Parts, Nationwide

Together with the US Postal Service, JMGR developed the Kit-of-Parts, a fully automated, CAD-generated, construction document production system which allows the user to maintain flexibility in responding to unique functional and site requirements, while taking advantage of cost savings and consistency in the quality of construction documents. The program is a nationwide modular CAD building system involving 3 CAD systems and 6 functional modules with over 100,000 permutations for buildings ranging from 8,400 sf to 35,000 sf. 200 buildings have been designed, completed, or are under construction throughout United States utilizing this concept. This program has received national design recognition for outstanding innovation.
